Securing a permanent sanctuary for discipleship, leadership, and community transformation in San Lorenzo, Ecuador
The Opportunity: We are at a critical "launch point." For the past year, Equipped World has been the hands and feet of Jesus in San Lorenzo—a coastal village of 1,600 people. On February 22, 2025, we planted Próximos Pasos (Next Steps), our first home church. Today, intimate discipleship is happening daily, but we have outgrown our temporary walls.
We have identified a strategic property: a former public hotel that we are converting into a Dynamic Christian Campus & Learning Center. This isn't just a building; it is the "Front Door" to the Gospel for this region.
The Strategy: Three Pillars of the Hub
  • A Sanctuary for the Soul: Expanding Próximos Pasos into a dedicated year-round center for worship and spiritual refuge.
  • A Training Ground for Leaders: A regional "Academy" for leadership workshops, pastoral training, and community education.
  • A Bridge to the Community: Housing our Educational and Community Fitness initiatives, providing tangible service that meets the physical and spiritual needs of our neighbors.

The Critical Need
To move from "temporary" to "generational," we must secure this property.
Phase 1: Conversion. Retrofitting the facility to withstand the coastal environment and serve as a fully operational ministry outpost.
Phase 2: Acquisition. We are seeking partners to help us transition from a monthly rental deficit to full ownership.
